Now Founder & Director of Areté Club, Co-Founder & Director of Secret Me, A candidate for a Phd War and running a Whitehall-Industry Emerging Leaders Forum.
Sara has previously worked at the UN and for various NGOs and organisations; she loves working in high-pressured environments around the world. While she still contributes to various missions across Africa and the ME (such as youth development and election monitoring), she left the international development world to set up a private members club, Areté Club, three years ago (see www.areteclub.com) to bring together the worlds of security, arts, finance, politics and business.
Areté Club hosts small intimate events to discuss and develop on today’s pressing issues. It also brings people together to make things happen through valuable introductions and connects early ventures, ideas and projects with potential investors or partners. Sara enjoys successfully “fixing” and brokering business problems around the world for Areté Club members and contacts.
Sara is now co-Founder and a Director for Secret Me – a James Bond meets Audrey Hepburn experience taught by ex-Special Forces and Intelligence personnel for (U)HNWIs. This is a high-end and authentic experience where individuals learn key spy skills that are then also applicable to real life and business.
She is also doing a PhD in War – looking at what business literature and ideas on joint ventures, strategic alliances, etc. can bring to the security world (specifically Afghanistan) when they form partnerships and collaborations.
